Tomorrow, I graduate high school.

… I seriously cannot comprehend it.

These past four years have been unbelievable, I can’t even begin to sum them up in a blog post. The freshman that tried to transfer high schools and joined band late, the sophomore that made All State Mixed Chorus, the junior that was the first girl drum major for her school in ten years, and the senior who is on her way to study music education as a voice major in college. That shy middle schooler who in all seriousness had two friends and was walked all over has finally grown up. Sure, she has a lot more growing up to do, but really. Look at how far you’ve come.

I made it through these four years, and come August twenty-third, I will make it through another four. High school was truly an unforgettable experience, and it honestly went by in the blink of an eye.

Future me, if you ever do look at this, please never forget. Never forget these past four years. Never forget the friends you made, the memories you shared, the things you accomplished, and never forget the person you turned out to be.

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”
